Our Journey
We launched quantaxis in 2019 because people needed honest, practical information about buying gift hampers and artisan food products. At the time, you'd find either glossy marketing or nothing at all — no real details about what makes a hamper special, where ingredients come from, or how same-day delivery actually works in Ireland.
The question kept coming up: "How do I know if this is worth the money? Can I really get it tomorrow? What's actually in it?" We decided to answer those questions properly — not with hype, but with research.
That's what we've been doing since. We started small, focusing on Wicklow's artisan producers because we could visit them, understand their process, and verify what they claim. Over time we expanded to cover same-day delivery logistics across the whole country, seasonal product availability, and how to choose hampers that actually fit what someone wants to receive.
Today we publish guides that people actually use when they're deciding what to buy. We don't sell anything ourselves — we just help people understand their options.
Our Process
Each article is built on practical details, not assumptions
We review where products come from, what's actually in hampers, and whether producers' sourcing claims hold up. This means checking supplier information, visiting producers where possible, and reading customer feedback.
Same-day delivery isn't available everywhere. We verify which areas can actually receive next-day or same-day service, what times work, and what happens if you order from a rural location.
Product availability changes. We track what's in stock year-round and update guides when offerings shift with seasons. No point recommending something that's not actually available.
Size, weight, packaging, shelf life, dietary info — the details that matter when you're choosing a gift. We include this in every review so you're not guessing.
We don't write something once and forget about it. Guides get reviewed and updated when details change — new suppliers, different delivery areas, product updates.
We listen when people tell us what they've experienced. If something we've written isn't matching reality, we fix it. That's how we stay honest.
How We Work
We describe what products actually are and how they work. Not what sounds good in marketing copy. If something's ordinary, we say so. If it's genuinely special, we explain why.
